DOI: 10.24412/2076-6785-2023-4-38-44

Abstract
The article provides an analysis and selection of approaches to the construction of a system for monitoring and assessing the technical condition of powerful electric machines based on multiparameter methods and the Park method. Practical examples of the use of multiparameter tools on induction motors and transformers using a modified thermal imaging method to increase the recognition of defects are given. The role of training and education of personnel of energy enterprises in the development of new methods in the field of monitoring the state of electrical equipment is noted.

Materials and methods
The solution of the problem of detecting and increasing the probability of recognizing defects on induction motors is achieved through the use of a two-stage monitoring process, in which voltage and currents are monitored on a running engine, data processing by the Park method using a thermal imaging method for monitoring the condition of equipment. At the second stage (on a disconnected motor), if there are signs of a defect, a multiparameter control of the stator and rotor windings is carried out according to a known methodology.

Abstract
The use of energy storage devices in power systems in the production, distribution and consumption of electricity is an urgent task. There are many articles, projects, and studies devoted to this. But a small number of them have been
brought to practical implementation. The reason for this is the high cost compared to the effects obtained from their use. The article considers the criteria on the basis of which it is possible to make a conclusion about the efficiency of
using energy storage devices in various power systems. Industrial enterprises and the residential sector were chosen as the object of research.

DOI: 10.24411/2076-6785-2020-10120

Abstract
The loss of electricity in electric installations of electrical networks and power supply systems is, from the point of view of energy conservation law, the inevitable energy and economic costs of ensuring the physical essence of the above technological processes. In modern conditions, the loss of electricity and power can be reduced by using the following innovative solutions in power transformer designs: the use of the superconductivity effect of low- and high-temperature, the introduction of new efficient methods for the formation of the main magnetic flux by means of amorphous ferromagnetic materials and the use of combined structures of power transformers combining the above the solution. In the article, the simulation of a traditional power transformer (TPT) and a transformer with an amorphous magnetic core (ACT) in the Ansys Maxwell software package is carried out. The values of active power losses due to eddy currents, as well as the distribution patterns of the magnetic field strength and magnetic induction are obtained. Experimental calculations of the dependence of the characteristics of a transformer with an amorphous steel core on the ambient temperature, taking into account the location of the magnetic circuit in a cryogenic medium, have been carried out. The use of amorphous steel in the design of the magnetic circuit will reduce the no-load losses. A positive effect has been proven when an amorphous magnetic core operates at low temperatures.

Materials and methods
In the Ansys Maxwell software package, the finite element method was used to calculate the active power losses due to eddy currents in the core of a traditional power transformer (TPT) and a transformer with an amorphous magnetic circuit (ACT). An experimental analysis of the amorphous magnetic circuit current characteristics dependence on temperature is carried out, including taking into account the location of the magnetic circuit in a cryogenic
medium. A meander was used as an input signal; the characteristics were taken with a digital oscilloscope.

Viktor I. Zavidey, Vasiliy S. Larin, Aleksey Yu. Volkov, Sergey A. Drobyshevskiy

Abstract In the article the issues of technical diagnostics of power transformers windings are considered. Results of windings condition assessment using impedance measurements, frequency-response analysis and fi ed-frequency phase parameters measurement are presented. It is noted that the method for winding condition assessment based on phase-parameters measurement has potential for application on-site due to the rapidity of analysis, simplicity and availability of numeric criterion. Materials and methods Power transformers and methods for its condition assessment. Results Assessment of transformer winding fault was conducted using frequency and phase analysis. Conclusions To evaluate mechanical and electrical condition of the transformer windings, it is advisable to use frequency response analysis (FRA) along with traditional measurement of short-circuit impedance. The possibility of quick condition assessment of the windings using the method based on comparison of currents ratio at selected frequencies is shown. Also it is shown that phase method based on comparison of phase angle between winding current and voltage at the fi ed frequencies has suffi iently high sensitivity to winding deformation and faults.

The experience presented in this article has been accumulated by Tatneft during the recent years while modernizing relay protection and automatic equipment of 110/35/6 (10) kV networks. The observability and controllability of the power supply system have increased due to the integration of relay protection terminals intothe DISC-110 system operated at Tatneft. Possibilities to the implementation of centralized selective protection from line-to-ground short-circuit and to organization of diagnostic monitoring of the electric equipment of 110/35/6 (10) kV substation opened up after the integration of relay protection terminals and the Zashita-3 hardware-software complex.

The use of real-time simulators in oil and gas companies

Dmitriy O. Mochalov, Janez V. Zakonjsek, Mikhail A. Shamis

Oil and gas companies consist of electric power-generating facilities, distribution networks and consumption facilities. In the conditions of stable development of power systems of oil and gas companies and their complication, behavior of power systems must be studied both in normal and abnormal modes. Real time digital simulators (RTDS) help to solve these problems fast and qualitatively. Thearticle is about using RTDS for research processes in power systems of oil and gas companies.

Competent approach to the organization of maintenance. Comparison of maintenance on demand routine maintenance of electrical systems

Ivan E. Buyanov

The article overviews different approaches to production facility maintenance, analyzing which of them can provide most fail safetyto critical production processes. Special attention is given to industries that are most vulnerable to damage due to the downtime of the equipment: banking, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and data centers. Also, the aspects that influence productivity and durability of electrical equipment are taken into account - such as environmentalconditions, overloading and excessive number of operating cycles. The author discerns two types of maintenance programs: scheduled and on-demand. Through the comparison of two kindsof maintenance, it was determined that scheduled maintenance more effective in comparison with maintenance on demand. The article describes the technique of maintenance and requirements for the staff who inspects the equipment. It was concluded in the article, thatscheduled maintenance is more effective than maintenance on demand. Among the other benefits of scheduled maintenance is the opportunity to carry out scheduled maintenance without interrupting any processes. In addition, conduction of a scheduled maintenance leads to reduceof costs, increase of reliability and prolongation of life of electrical equipment, as long as increase of personnel safety. Itis estimated that investments in scheduled maintenance can help avoid the occurrence of up to 67% of the possible failuresof electrical equipment and, therefore, avoid the financial losses associated with downtime.
