The paper presents the experimental study of mass transfer columns used in petroleum refining with special emphasis on the liquid carryover process in angle nozzles with demister pads.

Light-weight glass, experimental methods.
Results
Test results indicate the desirability of nozzles their use in industrial columns with HT = 600 mm.
Сonclusions
The experimental results of the study may be used to reduce the fraction of the carried over liquid in the design of a mass-transfer column.
