The geologic structure of deep-seated horizons of the northern part of the West Siberian geosyneclise, including Obsko-Tazovskaja guba and West-Jamalsky shelf of the Kara Sea is considered. New petroleum - promising objects have been revealed in the basement and deep-seated horizons of the geosyneclise cover.
