The paper is devoted to use of state-ofthe-art information technologies, such as artificial neural networks and parallel computations, to solving problems of troubles prediction in design of wells construction and optimization of drilling fluids composition.

Results
Algorithms for solving problems of troubles prediction in design of wells construction and optimization of drilling fluids composition have been developed and implemented. They are based on artificial neural networks and parallel computations use.
Сonclusions
Obtained results allow raising efficiency of calculations and reduce impact of human factor during design of wells construction.
