Due to software implementation of geological modeling in oil facilities, the automatic control of database determination is considered to be the most relevant issue. The authors of the article developed and constructed the software GeoLas for operational work during 3D geological modeling
Materials and methods
Well-log interpretation, database of oilfield, the Pascal programming language.
Results
• The software GeoLas, coupled with the methods, makes it possible to automate a lot of processes; it reduces time spending and material costs, increases productivity.
• Purposes were achieved by authors; new methods were applied in the Exploration geology and reserve development of “TatNIPIneft” laboratory of reserve calculation and oil resource evaluation.
• Three certificates of registration for computer programs were obtained by the authors for the software GeoLas [1-3].
Сonclusions
The software GeoLas is necessary for constructing geological and hydrodynamic models; it can be used for reserve calculation of hydrocarbons and presentation of results. Operating procedures of the software will be improved by the authors.
