The analysis of causes of wells stabilization failure after fracturing as an inflow stimulation method by the example of Yamburg oil and gas condensate field is provided in the paper. Influence of low formation pressure on the fracturing efficiency is also calculated.
Materials and methods
Reservoir simulation modeling.
Results
The important role of formation pressure as a criterion which shall be regarded for assessment of fracturing prospects in the conditions of low formation pressure and as a criterion for well reactivation from idlewell stock is presented in the context of the calculation.
Сonclusions
The value of formation pressure shall beregarded for selection of well candidates for fracturing. It will allow assessing the duration and labor intensity of the operations related to upcoming well completion and stabilization. It helps defining more accurate fracturing efficiency.
