The article presents the study results of aftereffect of the adhesive additive "Adgezolin" on the component composition and dispersion of the oxidized bitumen production by PSC"TAIF-NK".
Materials and methods
Oxidized bitumen BND-brand 60/90, adhesive additive "Adgezolin", method of adsorption-liquid chromatography, the program«Statistica», the method of dynamic light scattering (DLS).
Results
After the "Adgezolin" was added to the original bitumen in an amount of about 1% by weight mainly was changed the content of parafinic-naphthenic hydrocarbons (decrease) and asphaltenes (increase). Based on the resultsof the group of the chemical composition can be concluded that the additive is distributed substantially between monocyclearomatic hydrocarbons and asphaltenes.
Сonclusions
Thus, after the addition of "Adgezolin" intobitumen and heating it to 120-130°С alters the behavior of some hydrocarbon groups compared with the behavior of the same groups in the absence of additives. The study of particle sizes indicate that the systemis more "active" if they contain additives"Adgezolin" in an amount of 0.8% by weight.
